Proud to be a mumbaiakar..??

MUMBAI -

• A city where a family of three lives in a 3 BHK.. A city where another family of 8 lives in a single room ..

• A city where a 8 year old goes to school in a chauffeur driven car..and when dat car stops at a signal.. Another 8 year old poor homeless kid knocking the window of that very same car.. (Talk about irony)
• A city where a 50 year old lower middle class man has to work under a 21 year educated Hunk and call him "SIR".

• A city where a man who travels by 1st class feels dirty and embarrassing to travel by 2nd class in a train just because not all people around him there will be clean shaven and wearing a properly ironed Peter England shirt...!!!

• A city where you feel sorry for the old blind couple begging in the train... but soon u just plug in your headphones and lose yourself in a different world..!!
• A city where all of us feel sorry for the poor, needy and the underprivileged .. where all of us think about doing something for them.. but are too busy coz for all of us Our Personal suffering is the biggest in this world...!!
• A city where a 10 year old is crying for food outside McDonald's ..and a city where a group of 10 year old's are having a party inside the same McDonald's..
• A city where we have 150 bucks to spend on a movie every week but just a rupee to help a beggar outside the station..
• A city where the poor prefer their children working in hotels n shops than admitting them to schools..
• A city where all of us Join The Anna effect... but bribe the RTO officer when caught without a helmet..!!!

• A city where all of us get super angry after a terror attack in d city.. accuse all the politicians.. surf all the news channels for that day..feel bad about the people who lost their lives.. But soon the next day conveniently go for a movie with friends..
• A city where we are an easy target and our world is lot simpler to put to an end than you might think..!!

• A city where you get inspired watching " A Wednesday".. but only for that day..!!!
• A city where all talk about corruption are but no one is ready to join Politics and try change the system..
• A city where the youth is inspired by Aamir Khan's "Rang De Basanti".. but only till the exit of the cinema hall..!!
• A city where your friends dress just like your enemies.. and enemies just like your friends..!!!
• A city where we get used to deprivation pretty easily..

A city which every Indian wants to visit.. A city which every Mumbaikar is proud to be a part of.. A city which shelters everyone...

A city which is full of life.. but a city where all its residents are resilient.. accustomed to change.. accustomed to give up very easily..

A city where we love to "Forgive and Forget".

A city which is famous for its "Chalta Hai" attitude..

A city where we are too busy in our own life to care about others.. A city which is "A city of dreams".. but which assuredly eventually kills the Human in you.. Kills the compassion in you.. Kills the good in you..

And all of this pretty comfortably...

A city which turns you ugly..!!! Believe it or not... !!
